About
The Cambridge University European Society invites you to a virtual event on the Turing Scheme, the UK’s post-Brexit global student mobility programme.
What will the scheme look like? Will it improve or threaten the current degree of access to international opportunities for British students, as opposed to Erasmus+? How will it impact the relationship between British universities, Europe and the world?
We will be talking about these and other issues with:
• Johanna Waters, Reader in Human Geography and Migration Studies at University College London. Professor Waters’ research revolves around student mobility and migration and transnational education.
• Paul James Cardwell, Professor in Law at the University of Strathclyde. Prof Cardwell’s research focuses on EU law and policy and the internationalisation of education.
The event is open to all, will be held on Zoom, and will be followed by a Q&A with the speakers.
I am unable to attend but would appreciate a recording if you are recording the event.
Hi Annette, the event is being hosted by the Cambridge University European Society. I don’t know if they’ll record it and make it available. You could email them to ask at yemcueus@gmail.com
