Liz Webster worked in advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi before moving to Wiltshire where she lives on a busy farm. In 2019, Liz created the campaign Farmers for a People’s Vote and later founded the campaign group Save British Farming. Liz uses skills learnt in advertising to ensure her campaigns reach the widest audience. In 2019 Led by Donkeys used one of fields to create a memorable video spelling out ‘Now Britain Wants to Remain’. You can see it here.
Andrew Brown‘s family have been farming in the Welland valley, Rutland, for around three hundred years. Every year he welcomes many school children and other visitors to learn more about where their food comes from. Andrew was a Countryside Farmer of the Year finalist, a former High Sheriff of Rutland and now a magistrate. Last year he joined Liz on the Save British Farming campaign and organised a successful demo of over 30 tractors around Melton Mowbray in protest of the failure to include food and animal welfare standards in the Agriculture Bill.
