About
The end of the Brexit transition period and the UK government’s decision to end Freedom of Movement had serious consequences for every single person in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
This panel discussion is part of the Stories of Brexit campaign run by the European Movement, of which EU in Brum is an affiliate. Since its formation in 2016, EU in Brum has had citizens’ rights at its core.
The event features expert speakers from British in Europe, Settled and the3million, who will discuss the consequences for EU and UK citizens’ rights that are already being felt and issues that are likely to emerge in the future, including:
How can we support those who miss the UK’s EU Settlement Scheme deadline or do not register for the equivalent schemes across the EU?
Will some citizens lose the voting rights they previously held?
What will be the impact on family reunion rights?
Problems accessing Withdrawal Agreement rights and with digital only immigration status.
This promises to be an engaging and informative evening telling surely the most consequential of all Stories of Brexit.
