About
With the decision of the UK government to withdraw from the Erasmus+ Programme and to replace it with the Turing Scheme, some of us are aghast at this act of meanness and what it will signify for the future of students and young people in the UK as they seek to develop their personal and professional opportunities within a range of institutions and learning contexts here and in the EU. This abrogation of responsibility on the part of the UK government has to be challenged.

Shadow Minister for Digital, Culture, Media, Sport, Alison McGovern, will lead a panel of experts within the field of international education as we consider the real impact of the loss of Erasmus+ and discuss how we can make a difference to the inevitable negative outcome.  ‘The ‘plus’ and setting the record straight about Erasmus and Turing’.
