Recognising the origins of the EU – aiming to avoid a repeat of the 1930s and 1940s – helps us appreciate this amazing collaborative peace project, in which the sharing of sovereignty between nation states provides greater sovereign power for all. He has published several books on Europe – his latest came out in April this year, entitled: “Hitler’s Cosmopolitan Bastard: Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi and His Vision of Europe”.
