BREXIT – THE FIRST 100 DAYS

The weekend of the 10/11 April marks 100 days from the end of the Brexit transition period.  To mark this, Sheffield for Europe is hosting an online event with a panel of speakers, who will reflect on the many ways Brexit is having an impact, for example on our business community, on the loss of opportunities for musicians and artists, health, the Financial Services sector, food and farming, fishing, the Northern Ireland Protocol and the Good Friday Agreement.
Speakers are:
PROFESSOR TAMARA HERVEY: Jean Monnet Professor of European Union Law, City Law School, City University, London
PAUL BLOMFIELD: Labour MP for Sheffield Central, and Shadow Brexit Minister 2016-2020
RICHARD CORBETT: Former Labour MEP for Yorkshire and Humber
JANE THOMAS: Committee member of Sheffield for Europe; member of the European Movement UK’s National Executive Committee
Please help spread the word by sharing the event and inviting friends you think might be interested/have been affected.
