Dear Members and Supporters,
With the party conference season almost upon us it is time for us all to express our concerns regarding the Brexit chaos to our elected MPs. The committee of the Suffolk EU Alliance (SEUA) has been shocked by the failure of our elected members to engage with their constituents. We are therefore proposing that as many supporters as possible attempt to make direct contact with their elected MP either by phone, email or letter to express their concern at the lack of government direction and their failure to engage with the people they represent in parliament.
Members received a letter drafted by Philip Gough outlining how you can assist with the campaign. The response from his MP Dr Therese Coffey has been quite unacceptable. The committee feel it would be most effective if further letters and phone calls came from you as individuals rather than as an initiative just from the Suffolk EU Alliance committee.
If you decide to contact your MP do mention the SEUA; but please not Philip or other members of the committee by name.
Hoping that our campaign can rely on your support and that our MPs will feel sufficiently rattled to make an attempt to respond.
