Dear Supporters and Members,

Thursday December 20 11.15 am The Bollocks to Brexit bus is coming Ipswich. We need a rally with lots of supporters to greet the bus with flags, placards and lots of noise.

The bus will be carrying the well known activist Madeleina Kay (Boris Johnson impersonator Drew Galdor, has now had to withdraw) on the final day of the bus tour. It will be stopping outside Crown House, next to the Crown Pools, opposite the Tower Ramparts NCP car park on Crown Street from 11:30am-12.30pm.

There is plenty of room on the bus so we hope some of you will be willing to hop on the bus as it continues its tour to Colchester and Chelmsford, where we’ll disembark and get the train back. Essex currently doesn’t have a centralised anti-Brexit grassroots organisation like SEUA, so having a ready-made crowd at each stop will be a huge help to the organisers. Places on the bus are limited to 25, so you’ll need you to book your seat at: https://www.bollockstobrexit.com/ Click on the heading that says ‘bus tour ‘. Then hover over the word Itinerary and you will see the words ‘Ride with us’ which you click for the booking form.

Background
The aim of the ‘Bollocks to Brexit’ bus is to target Remain groups across the country and motivate them into action, encouraging them to write to their MPs to demand a #FinalSay on the Brexit deal. They also want to engage the apathetic and those people who are sick and tired of hearing about Brexit. ‘BOLLOCKS TO BREXIT’ is a controversial and provocative slogan that engages attention and will provoke a debate about the state of the Brexit negotiations. They want to show the UK media that the Remainer’s ‘Bollocks to Brexit’ is a much better campaign with far greater support than the ‘Leave Means Leave’ campaign. To give you a flavour of what to expect, watch the video on this page.

Parking £1 per hour ( max 5 hours) is available at the adjoining Crown Car park. Alternatively the Ipswich Park and Ride Buses stop at Tower Ramparts opposite the Crown Pools. You can park at either the Martlesham or Copdock Park and Ride Sites. Toilet facilities are nearby in M&S Debenhams and the Sailmakers Shopping Centre.
