About

A protest rally is being organised by Another Europe is Possible in Parliament Square which Suffolk EU Alliance members will be attending.

The rally is a counter to a far-right march organised the same day under the banner of “Brexit Betrayal”, because they are using Brexit as a means to attract followers. They are timing it for just before the first vote on Theresa May’s Brexit deal.  Speakers include David Lammy and Caroline Lucas (see the full speaker list below).

The aim of the counter rally is to show the world that we are bigger and stronger, and that we will stand up to anyone using Brexit as a means to attack migrants, end free movement, deregulate the economy, divide communities and legitimise racism in the political mainstream.

Please consider joining members of the SEUA and Another Europe is Possible on December 9th, where we will demand:

  • Vote down the Brexit deal
  • Give the people a final say
  • Stop the far right – defend free movement

If you’re interested in attending and want to travel with others from Suffolk, please email at suffolkeu@gmail.com us and we’ll arrange a rendezvous point.
