Dear Supporters and Members,

A Big Thank you to everyone who made Saturday’s March such a success.  Whether you attended the march itself, sent your encouragement or supported us financially the March showed the nation how determined we are to continue to prevent our departure from the the European Union. We are all working now to ensure the struggle continues and this week we have two important events:

Firstly:
Tuesday 26th March,  Seckford Golf Club, Woodbridge.

At our meeting we will discuss the success of the march and plan how to move forward.
The meeting begins at 7pm but a pre-booked optional meal will be served from 6pm.  The meal this week is Mediterranean chicken served with vegetables or vegetarian Mediterranean tart.  The price is £8.00 to be paid at the Seckford golf club bar when you arrive. Anyone who still wants to book please email your order this evening Sunday 24th or asap to:  suffolkeu@gmail. com

Directions to the The Seckford Golf Club, Seckford Hall Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP13 6NT The Golf Club is near The Seckford Hall Hotel and is on the Seckford Hall Road 3 turnings beyond the hotel entrance.  Please see the map on our website  (satellite view is the clearest)

Secondly:

Friday 29th March  7.00am-9.00am  The Woodbridge Theatre Riverside Cafe/Restaurant event: The ‘We’re not going to Brexit’ (after all)
Breakfast Party’

This Friday morning, BBC Radio Suffolk have invited the Suffolk EU Alliance to hold a breakfast party to celebrate not leaving the EU on March 29th. It will be a live discussion programme where we will be contributing along with a Brexit Breakfast group at a different location. For a special price of £7.00 the cafe will provide a hot drink and breakfast sandwich which you pay for when you arrive at the  Riverside cafe. We’d love you to join us on this significant day!  You need tickets for this event so please book through this Eventbrite link.

Finally:  Very Important:

Please make sure you sign the new petition  ‘Revoke Article 50 and Remain in the EU.  It has only been running a few weeks but has gathered over 5 million votes and you will see how the votes are increasing at a rapid pace.

This is first time we have included this petition in our emails. If you think you may have already signed don’t worry about signing twice as the website will only accept your vote once and will quickly reject any more votes from you. When you sign also have a look at the petition map. You can click different areas of the UK to see how much support the petition has in each constituency which is quite interesting. We feel there needs to be more of a response from our local constituents. Please sign and share with everyone you know.

We hope you can join us at some of these events,

With best wishes for our future inside the EU.
Jackie
