We need our members to keep up the pressure on our local MPs by writing them letters. The more you send, the better! A handwritten or printed letter always more impact than an email That said, if you don’t have time for that, then an email is better than no email! You can find all the Suffolk MP’s contact details below.
We know some people are unsure what to write, so we’re offering you two ways that can help you.
The first is this brilliant website set up by the People’s vote called Not Buying It. It cleverly asks you a few demographic questions before you get started, so it can include that information in the letter to make it more personal.
Or if you prefer, we’ve put together a letter-writing template of sentences and paragraphs that you can choose from, to copy verbatim, or to put your own spin on. When writing, it’s really important to include the personal touch: e.g. why you are so opposed to Brexit, how Brexit will affect you and/or your family, etc.
