3) Remember to sign up by Friday 26th October if you would like a meal before our meeting at the Seckford Golf Club next Tuesday 30th October, menu below.
4) Date correction: The Halesworth Street stall is on Saturday 10th November not the 3rd as stated in our previous newsletter.
1) Saturday 27th October at 2pm Saxmundham : We are following up the wonderful success of The People’s Vote March in London with
our own BREXIT CENTRAL pop-up discussion cafe to keep ourselves and the people of Saxmundham informed about Brexit and ‘The People’s Vote.’

Brexit is a serious issue & it’s important to understand what is going on.

2) Also in the morning on the same day, Saturday 27th October 10am-1pm we have our Saxmundham street stall outside Waitrose (cafe entrance) 10am-1pm.
Please email me at: suffolkeu@gmail.com if you are able to support either of these events. The more support we have on the streets and the bigger our presence the greater will be our impact upon changing the minds of local people. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help with this.
At the street stalls we ask people to sign ‘the People’s Vote’ petition, we hand out leaflets and talk to passers by. We also use our popular Brexitometers to gauge the feelings of people about Brexit and the opportunity to vote again on what the government negotiates with the EU. It’s a good chance to get to know and work with other members of our group.

3) Tuesday 30th October: SEUA meeting at The Seckford Golf Club 7-9pm.
We shall be talking about how we can promote ‘The People’s Vote campaign.
There will be an optional meal before the meeting served from 6 pm. The meal is jacket potato with a topping of coronation chicken or vegetarian beans with cheese. Both served with salad.The cost is £8.00 which you pay on the evening. The meal must be pre-booked at suffolkeu@gmail.com asap and at the latest by Friday 26th October.

Saturday 10th November: Halesworth Street stall 10am-1pm Opposite Focus Organics cafe and healthfood shop. We shall have our Brexitometer and be promoting The People’s Vote and our film evening.

Thursday 15th November 7:30 pm. Special viewing of the film ‘Postcards from the 48%’ at The New Cut in Halesworth. The film is about the consequences of Brexit and shows why Remainers are continuing their fight to stay in the EU. It features many famous faces and people from all walks of life. The screening will be followed by a Q & A session with the film’s director David Wilkinson.
The tickets cost £8.00 (plus 8.5% booking fee charged by our ticketing agency) and can be bought here.
We want as many people to come as possible so if you need transport or you have a spare seat in your car please contact us. The New Cut is a lovely venue with a cafe where we can enjoy the film and a pleasant social time together.

Philip would like to hear from anyone who has received a meaningful reply from their MP or who has been able to make an appointment to see their MP.( He will also be keen to hear if you have had no response to a request.)
