Dear Supporters and Members,

This is to remind you that we have a meeting this week and that meals can be still be ordered.

Tuesday 30th April: Meeting at the Seckford Golf Club Woodbridge.

The meeting begins at 7pm but a pre-booked optional meal will be served from 6pm. The meal is a choice of meat or vegetarian Lasagne with salad. Jacket potatoes with a cheese topping are also available. The price is £8.00 to be paid at the Seckford golf club bar when you arrive. Please email your booking to: suffolkeu@gmail.com this evening or asap.

At the meeting we will be finding out about the voting system that will be used in the forthcoming European elections. We will have the full list of candidates and will be discussing how we can encourage everyone, including European citizens to register to vote. There is also information about the voting system on our website: www.suffolkeualliance.org. We will up date you on our campaigning and be discussing future plans.

Saturday 4th May : Lowestoft street stall 10.00-13.00.
We need lots of help with the Brexitometer, leafleting and encouraging people to register to vote. Please reply to this email if you can volunteer to help with this street stall.


Saturday 11th May: Eunity meeting 10.00 am-12.00 at The Cult Cafe on Ipswich Waterfront.
A meeting for Suffolk EU Alliance supporters living in the Ipswich area to share ideas, support each other and plan for future campaigning. All are welcome to attend.

The Local and European Parliament elections

As a cross party Remain group the Suffolk EU Alliance encourages all our supporters to make sure they can vote in the local elections on Thursday 2nd May and the European Parliament elections on Thursday 23rd May. Also please encourage young people and EU citizens from mainland Europe to register. Here is the link for registering : https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote The website includes a link that can be used by EU citizens to register onlne.

This link may also be helpful for those who cannot find or need to apply for a National Insurance number in order to complete the registration form.
