Dear Members and Supporters,

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our, ‘We’re not going to Brexit Breakfast’ on March 29th. Over 80 people, plus BBC Suffolk joined us for our breakfast celebration on this very significant day. Also thank you to everyone who has been busy distributing, ‘Revoke Article 50’ leaflets and encouraging people to sign the petition, which now has over 6 million signatures. We will be continuing this campaign at our street stalls this weekend, please make sure you have signed and shared.

As our MPs struggle with various options to find a way forward through the Brexit shambles it is of great importance that we step up our campaigning and so we are asking everyone again to support our street stalls. Please consider giving up an hour or two to help or just come and say hello.  The bigger the crowd of us, the greater the numbers we can attract!

The Revoke Article 50 Petition
Please continue to encourage people to sign this petition. We will be promoting it at the street stalls and you can take leaflets to hand out on the streets convenient for you, they can be posted through letterboxes or put on car windscreens. Please contact me for more leaflets.
Please also make sure that you have signed the petition ‘Revoke Article 50 and Remain in the EU’.  It has only been running a few weeks but has gathered over 6 million votes and you will see how the votes are increasing at a rapid pace.

If you think you may have already signed don’t worry about signing twice as the website will only accept your vote once and will quickly reject any more votes from you. When you sign also have a look at the petition map.You can click different areas of the UK to see how much support the petition has in each constituency which is quite interesting. We feel there needs to be more of a response from our local constituents.

Important – Who can sign?

1)British citizens and UK residents including non-citizens legally resident in the UK –   no matter how long they have lived here.
2) British citizens NOT resident in the UK – no matter how long they have been away.
3) British citizens and UK residents of any age – even if they are under voting age.

Young people and children can sign if they understand the petition and have their own email address. If you’re not comfortable with your children having their own e-mail account, up to two people can sign petitions using the same e-mail address. This can only happen as long as the two people use the same postcode.

I can send the QR code to anyone who requests it, it is also on all our leaflets.

Please sign the petition and share with everyone you know.

I do hope you can join us for some of these events.

With best wishes for our future inside the EU,
Jackie
