Unfinished Business
by Rod Webb
In reply to both Brian Pinner (Monday, October 22) and Adrian church (Tuesday, October 23), I quote none other than David Davis: “If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy.” And I would further mention that Nigel Farage is on the record, before the referendum, as saying he would regard a narrow majority, 52 to 48, for remain as unfinished business. Given that the majority gained by leave was less than 52% to 48, reversing Brexit is very much unfinished business. Those who want to remain I the EU have every right to campaign for what they want anyway, but Nigel Farage has helped by explicitly agreeing to it.
