By Philip Gough & Anna Damski

Ipswich station late on Friday afternoon (March 8th) over a dozen SEUA supporters handed out leaflets promoting the Put it to the People march in London on March 23rd. For the most part we had a very positive reception, friendly conversations, and it was encouraging to get the message of hope out to younger members of the public.

Well done everyone. The team spirit was terrific!

Meanwhile further north on the same day, Dave Kitson and SEUA committee member Anna Damski braved the cold wind and showers for two and a half hours to hand out leaflets outside Lowestoft Station. The station was busy with mostly commuters arriving from Norwich and Ipswich, and a quite a few departing for Norwich for an evening footie match. Unlike at our street stalls, the majority of people seemed receptive to the People’s Vote leaflets and we had some good conversations with both Remainers and Leavers. Dave’s daughter-in-law also joined us for an hour – with big thanks to both for their help. It was definitely worthwhile.
