The 3 important things to do today:

I) Book your coach ticket for the London march, Saturday 23rd March. We have just booked our third coach and the seats are being snapped up quickly. See below for details.

2) Send a card to Theresa Coffey today, first class stamp to arrive by Tuesday morning with a message such as, ‘Don’t let Brexit break Britain’ or ‘This next vote is your chance to be honest’.  Dr Therese Coffey, House of Commons, Westminster, SW1A  0AA. (For other MPs see our website.)

3) If you want to book the optional meal at the Seckford golf club before our meeting on Tuesday please do it today! We could do with just a few more bookings.

Thank you to everyone for the brilliant support you have given  this week including your swift response in rallying and attending Dr T Coffey’s ‘secret’ meeting with her Constituents. About 22 SEUA members gained admittance to the meeting and asked some really good challenging questions. Also thanks for helping with the leafleting at Ipswich station and with our  windy, rainy Southwold street stall yesterday.

Important dates this week:

Tuesday 12th March:  7pm General Meeting at the Seckford golf club, Woodbridge.

The meeting begins at 7pm but a pre-bookedoptional meal will be served from 6pm. The meal this week is chilli con carne or vegetarian 5 bean chilli.  The price is £8.00 to be paid on the evening.  Please email your booking to me by Sunday evening, 10th March at:  suffolkeu@gmail. com
We are just a few meals short of the quota needed in order to enjoy using the venue free of charge so if you are thinking of booking please book asap.

This is also the evening when there may be a vote on the deal so it could be a very interesting evening in Parliament but we are not holding our breath!

As this is also the last meeting before the London march we will have various items of march regalia for sale, including flags, badges, bags, T-shirts and berets. Our beautiful redesigned Suffolk EU Alliance placard featured below will also be available for purchase.

Directions to the The Seckford Golf Club, Seckford Hall Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP13 6NT The Golf Club is near The Seckford Hall Hotel and is on the Seckford Hall Road 3 turnings beyond the hotel entrance.  You can find details and a map for directions here.

The ‘Put it to the People’ MARCH Saturday 23rd March:

We are marching again in LONDON!

The government wants to kick the can down the road and then force MP’s to back their brexit deal at the last minute. The 23rd March will be the day the People say- NO.  This may also be our last chance to demonstrate how much we need a People’s Vote so it is essential that we have the support of as many people as possible. Further details, including coach transport are below.

We have now filled 2 coaches and have booked a third coach.
The coach will leave:

Woodbridge swimming pool at 8.00 am

Ipswich Portman Road at 8.20am (by the Sir Alf Ramsey statue opposite PLANET BLUE).

As we now have 3 coaches so it is important to tell us where you are going to board the coach.

Everyone who has booked a seat on the coach should have an email confirming their booking. If your confirmation hasn’t arrived yet, please email me.

The coach will take us to the Embankment from where people can go straight to Parliament Square or make their own way walking or by tube to Park Lane where the march begins.

Return: The coach will pick us up at the Embankment in London at 6.30pm.
